Although there are no standards governing the repair of laminated automotive glass in Malaysia, we adhere to the ROLAGS (Repair Of Laminated Automotive Glass Standard) issued by the American National Standards Institute, Inc.

The principles and guidelines for repair set forth in the Standard are available for examination at our premises.

Other similar standards exists in other parts of the world notably the British Standard BS AU 251:1994 of the United Kingdom and the AS/NZS 2366:1999 of Australia and New Zealand.

Of higher significance in terms of vehicle safety are the standards for replacement of windscreen glass. Considering the impact non-compliance can have on passenger lives, such standards ensure that if replacement becomes unavoidable, a safe installation is delivered to the customer. These standards have been in existence very much earlier in the auto industries of USA and other developed countries. In Malaysia, we have yet to appreciate their value.
